What was wrong with the first one?
I LIKED the first one.
Did they just run out of scripts or something?
Absolutely no need to remake this. The original is perfect.
Please, no more pointless remakes with cast whoever actors.
I can’t take it anymore.
The original is perfect.

I agree...I must have seen it 20 times and never tire of it.
The first one is an awesome movie, in many ways. I used to watch it every time it appeared on TV, but it’s been a while.
I’m not sure how a remake could top or even rise to the level of the original. But, why put in an original effort when you can just recycle one that worked.
Maybe Kim Cattrall and/or Kurt Russell will make a cameo appearance.

Wang Chi: A brave man likes the feel of nature on his face, Jack.
Egg Shen: Yeah, and a wise man has enough sense to get in out of the rain!
I actually like Dwayne Johnson.
But I LOVE the Kurt Russell version.
LOL!
I don’t think anybody will beat the original.
And what’s with all the remakes anyway?
Hollow.? F it.
The original was an awesome movie. Don’t know how good the remake will be, but I’ll probably watch it when it gets to DVD. I like The Rock.
Kurt Russel vs The Rock... Ok. I guess they’ll make a few bucks or something.
Noooo
I’ve seen him in a few movies and not questioning his appearance in it, but why would they remake that movie? Are they really running out of ideas? Are they completely out of ideas? They could start doing some sci-fi movies or long-running series based off of books, as long as Gavin Hood doesn’t direct them.
That’s like remaking Soldier. Kurt Russell cannot be topped.
Big Trouble in Little China”
A positively wretched motion picture, IMO.
Oops, everybody else here thinks it was good.
I was in junior high.
Escape from NY/LA. There’s a lot of people out there that love the Metal Gear Solid games, and it would be great to have a proper movie. Problem is, who plays Snake?
