When I was a child, comic books were regarded as entertainment for children. How is it that Gen X adults now regard them as appropriate for adults? Baffling and nauseating.

My youngest son now 24 used to read graphic novels all the time...when he was a teen...

I'd ask him "what are you reading"

His answer: "a book"

I'd look at it and comment: "books don't have drawings and word bubbles, comics do. That's not a book"

Used to piss him off...LOL...

Check out The Watchmen”. Definitely not for kids.
I’m actually spending this weekend at a comic con and it’s terrific! Just picked up some original art by James OBarr.
