“Ben Hur” is being remade.
I’d like to see a movie about Rayland Givens.

I would like to see any of Ben Bova’s (6 time winner of Hugo Award) books.
Another favorite author is Stephen Lawhead. Not so much his early sci fi stuff, but his books like: Patrick Son of Ireland, Byzantium, and his Pendragon Cycle ( Taliesin, Merlin, Arthur, Pendragon, Grail) would make a wonderful TV series, he has Christian theme very subtly but well done, behind them all.

There are two series I would like to see. Julian May's Saga of Pliocene Exile and Roger Zelazny's Amber books.

Another two I thought of - “A Garden of Sand” and “Tattoo” both by Earl Thompson. Fantastic novels set in the Midwest depression era.

Stephen King’s “The Talisman.”
I don’t know if it could even be done...it would take a lot of money and it would be long enough to require intermission. But, wow, if made right, I would be first in line.
Years ago I heard rumors it might happen, but so far, nothing.

I think Raymond Fiest's "Riftwar" series, especially the early books (
Magician,
Silverthorn, and
A Darkness at Sethanon) would translate very well to movie or mini-series formats.
Also, a series I'm doing with the kids: "All The Wrong Questions" by Lemony Snicket might translate quite well onto screen.

Hollyweird would ruin it, but Haldeman's "Forever War" would be epic, to film and see. Even has some homo references (not sex) in it to keep them interested.
I am surprised none of Joe's books has been made into a movie.
