Listen genius Trump made the comment of the Century in SC when he said the politicians are not going to get you to the promised land. So freaking true. They all have to take millions from mega donors to get elected. That means they can never make any meaningful changes.

Just today my prince Ted Cruz voted to invoke cloture on the Trade bill. Why? What could he possibly gain from it? The bill is a POS that will send more jobs out of country, bring in more HI visas and cede more sovereighty. I am distressed that the only guy who seemed to be a real patriot so easily votes for this monstrosity. Why couldn’t he stand with Rand and Mike Lee and Jeff Sessions? Its a problem.

Now comes Donald Trump who is beholden to nobody. He will self fund and if you watch his speeches and interviews he is seriously frustrated about the state of the country. This is not a show. This guy has a lot to lose by giving up his dream life to run for President. If I were him I would never do it.

Are you aware of why every 4 years we get a new form of mediocrity in the Whitehouse? Its because the really good capable guys make too much money and don’t want to sacrifice their nice lives for a crappy job.

I’m going to predict that Trump is really going to run this time around and when he announces he will receive a significant amount of grassroots support. People of sick of the politicians selling them out and they are sick of being out of work. If Trump runs on jobs he will be a major contender.

Could you possibly describe how an empty headed person can accumulate billions of dollars? I don’t remember you slamming Obama in such a fashion. Is George W of superior intelligence?
Someone could label your snark about his comb-over as shallow. You probably are not, and it is beneath you. I was surprised. I usually read and agree with your posts.

This is America were you can work hard and make things happen. You on the other hand want it to be all equal and fair. Comrade your pink slip is showing! Please forward a list of all the new jobs you and your company have created in the last six years. Thank you!

Well he did mention China and Mexico, at least as much as himself in that quote.

:D

I agree with you in part, but Donald is on a roll at the moment.

He does talk himself up, but does so while making very good points at the very same time.

I guess it depends on how you’re listening.

And who you’re advocating for at the moment. I give Trump a chance to make his case.

If he stands down this time, he won’t get a do-over from me anyway.

But for now, he is saying the right things, in my book.

Cruz wants to award Obama with more power by way of a new trade deal, which everyone except the Republicans and Obama hates. Have you read what Senator Sessions says about the trade bill? Are you aware that these trade bills have destroyed the American economy. Cruz is for the trade bill.

[HE canceled his TV show]

If he said HE canceled the show, I’ll throw him a bone for that one, he’s going to need it before his faux presidential run if over.

You are right. They can’t disagree with what he says, but they evidently think it diminishes their candidate since their candidate won’t say it. They think I am slamming Cruz; I’m not, I’m just relating his stated positions.

A businessman is drive to build his organization. The last thing we need in government. Businessmen run their companies. President’s should not run the country. That’s our job to run our own lives, churches, businesses, charities. Government and business are radically different. One uses free association and voluntary trade. The other is all about force and theft.
What we need is much less government not well-run government.

Yes, Cruz is always out to shore up Obama’s act any way he can, right?

I’ll tell you straight. If we as conservatives are unable to recognize the best candidate since Reagan-—maybe even better, who knows-—in favor of some gasbag self-promoting P.T. Barnum, then we deserve the government we will end up with.

Whew, that’s a relief.

Disagree with what he says? He said he’s a Democrat.

But he amuses himself every four years and massages his ego by going in front of a few Tea Party groups and giving them a line of BS.

And there are always a few suckers who buy it.

Why don’t we try a successful business man as the USA is the second largest business in the world?

Perot tried it and we got Clinton. Twice. Romney tried it and we got Obama re-elected. Trump always talks about running, then reveals himself as a self-promoting fraud.

Who do you suggest next?

“Can’t stand his enormous ego”

You can book it; EVERYONE who has ever run for president has an enormous ego. Perhaps, his enormous ego would prevent him from bowing low to foreign dictators, would impel him to be the leader of the greatest nation, would impel him to preserve the greatest nation, would prevent him from selling out his nation, would constrain him to make sure, to polish his ego, that he would maintain the U. S. as the greatest nation. At least Trump has an AMERICAN ego. Why does that offend you?

Back at Stanford, a lot of students were watching him on TV but there was one quote from him that I applied to my life. “You are poor because of the poor choices you made”. Not because of whitey, or the man. It comes down to you and you only to succeed in life.

Is Trump the only candidate who has not announced? If it is okay for all the others, why is it such a sin for Trump to wait until next month?

Of course I think Cruz/Palin sounds a lot better-—but I don’t think that will happen.

Who knows—maybe they’ll surprise me!

I’ve never thought of the Donald as a liberal—but whadda I know?
