The automotive industry has seen many changes over the years. Some once commonplace features in cars are now relics of the an almost forgotten past. Some less expensive cars sold today may offer some of these on their base models, it is becoming more and more difficult to find these features. So you wish any of these were still around...?

Ah, I remember the clear vinyl seat covers that would heat to roughly the temperature of molten steel in the sunlight at the beach, and then you’d sit down on it with nothing but your bathing suit on...

I have a rig that still has those. Used to use it for snow plowing. Now I just keep the rig for sentimental value. Used to be in great shape, until my son rolled it. He came out with only a small scratch on his finger. Knocked out all damage, replaced the windshield, still runs great.

Yikes! We never had the clear seat covers, but we had several cars with vinyl seats. On especially hot days, I swear I could hear my flesh sizzle when I sat down on that bench seat wearing nothing but jean cutoffs and a t-shirt.
