Boxing is a joke, these “boxers” wouldn’t last a minute against an MMA fighter.

Well now, that’s easy. He gets lots of practice at home . . . beating his wife.

Because he only fights weaker opponents. He’s a good boxer, but he has a long history of avoiding fights he might lose, waiting until they get too old and lose and edge.

He’s 38 years old and commanding this big of a payoff?
There must not be very many young contenders good enough to knock his crown off.

Mayweather will win easily. He is just too good a boxer with superior technical skills compared to Manny. Floyd’s only real opponent is age, but that is not a problem on Saturday. Manny is about the same age.

OK, I’m a girly girl, but I never understood boxing, it is so bestial to slug it out and cause harm to another in the name of entertainment.

Floyd is just an incredible dooosh bag. That’s the only way to describe him. Unfortunately, guys like that make good fighters. His domestic abuse record is appalling and his spending habits shallow and insane. So easy to root against. If Pacman knocks him out ( unlikely), that will be the only satisfying conclusion. No way Pacman gets a decision. If it goes the distance, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a draw. That way they can fight again and double their money. It’s all about the dollars. Always.

Those guys aren't as fast as Pacman is.

Pac is going to use his hand and foot speed to win rounds.

Not much of a fight fan myself (I prefer that good ol' pre-Internet kayfabe rasslin'!), but second only to baseball, boxing probably has the longest and most quasi-mythological history and lore.

About the time I was born boxing was an absolute craze in the United States. I have read that boxing saturated television much as football does today and that every fighter of ever weight class had dedicated fans who couldn't wait to watch them on "Friday Night Fights."

The sport is very brutal and I'm not even sure it should be legal (but I'm not "raising awareness" or anything, boxing fans, so don't get mad!). But when you consider names like John L. Sullivan, Jack "Nonpareil" Dempsey, Mysterious Billy Smith, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, and the TV stars of the 50s (Marciano, Robinson, etc.), you have to give the fight game its props.

The PacMan epitomizes the boxing warrior and he reminds me of the former greats such as Ismael Laguna and Roberto Duran who grew up in their respective third world dirt floored villages in Panama.

Manny is a hero in his country who has been plagued by tax problems but after all is said and done, what he had done for his country, he has attained saint hood as far as I'm concerned.

Mayweather is nothing but a bling adorned thug with a criminal record........

I have not watched more than a half dozen matches in the last twenty years so I know nothing about either fighter.

But one thing has not changed and that is no one is at their best all of the time and in many cases that is what wins a fight between two fighters who are evenly matched.

Just saw the interview between Greta and Manny.

Greta: What kind of music do you listen to when training?

Manny: Christian inspirational

There is no question that the PacMan's Christian faith is what leads him in his life..........

I suspect that Mayweather will likely win the fight but you can't ignore the fact that Mayweather has deliberately been avoiding him for years.........
