That was truly brilliant sketch. Especially then when they included members of another 70s comedy show.

That’s a shame. She comes across on screen as a lovely person. It seems that the acting profession in general seems to atract people who have very little in the way of morals. I always wondered why that is...

I knew Suzanne a few years ago, when I lived in Las Vegas. Sad to hear this news - she seemed like a nice person.

Died suddenly is often a euphemism for suicide or drug overdose.
Maybe, but she was 52, married for almost 30 years, and working as a manager at Office Max so do we really have to go there before the woman is even in the ground?

"Maybe, but she was 52, married for almost 30 years, and working as a manager at Office Max so do we really have to go there before the woman is even in the ground?" I agree. Until other information comes out, I would guess she suffered an aneurysm.

"Yes, ABC Friday night had The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, Room 222, The Odd Couple, Love, American Style." Your post made me go to Youtube and look up the intros for "Room 222" and "Love, American Style." I didn't even remember the one for "Room 222" until I saw it; it was nice. Such clean-cut college students!

Why did all of the high school students in Room 222 look like they were in their 30s?

I agree with you 100% about the negative stereotypes portrayed in television shows and movies in regards to Vietnam vets.
Even one of the “Dirty Harry” movies had a serial-killer Vietnam vet.
These negative portrayals have bugged me for years.....I thought it was insulting, but Hollywood is controlled by liberals.

I remember Susan Dey on a TV series called “Emerald Point Naval Air Station” (NAS) during the 1980’s.

Back in the 70s, you couldn't read a newspaper without seeing a story like - "Ex-Marine, VN Vet Robs local Bank."
Last year, my local TV news ran a story about a guy stopped for DUI. Police also discovered he hadn't renewed his driver's license since 1969.
The reporter set it up like this - "John Smith of Rochester, a Vietnam veteran ..."
Forty five years after he returned from 'Nam, his service and sacrifice were still portrayed as criminal acts.

"Why did all of the high school students in Room 222 look like they were in their 30s?" Er...well, teenagers were much more mature back then. Yeah, that's it.

I never saw the show either. I never saw Happy Days, The Brady Bunch, Sanford and Son or,I suppose, a dozen others. They simply didn’t look or sound interesting.

I was in elementary school when the Partridges were on. It wasn’t until college that I saw Oklahoma! on TV. From then on I was confused as to how Mrs. Partridge evolved from Broadway to a silly TV show. But she can sing.
To: Gefn
I used to have some Partridge Family trading cards.
