Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez said he wasn't concerned that the team signed Tim Tebow, because the Eagles told him Tebow was just there to throw in camp.
"We needed another guy to throw while Sam's (Bradford) still recovering. So that's the reason (for the signing), at least as explained to me," Sanchez said, per CSN Philadelphia.
The Eagles signed Tebow on Monday. He hasn't played in the NFL since getting cut by the Patriots at the end of training camp prior to the 2013 season. He spent last year as a television analyst for the SEC Network

Sanchez can be a dick sometimes. Mariota would make him a camp arm really quick.
Even if what he said was true...he’s ass to make it public..
Rumor has it he's been working on his mechanics; time will tell.
How many USC qb busts have there been? Palmer wasn’t, but Leinert was a big one, Sanchez only slightly better, and haven’t seen much else from there.

No rumor about it. He has been working with the same QB coach that works or worked with Brady. Can’t remember the guys name but Dilfer did a very good story last year about what Tim has been doing behind the scenes. The location was out in the USC area.
Be careful of conventional wisdom.

I keep hearing that he isn't good enough for the NFL yet I have not seen him play since the Broncos went post season with Tebow as QB.
LET HIM PLAY.
They pretty much told everybody that when they said he was 4th on the chart.
That Boston writer wins the hate Tebow award. Tebow personally responsible for not 1, but 2, guys not making NFL
Yeah, that part I didn't buy either - like post #11 said, the NFL is a meritocracy.
I like Tebow. Regarding the NFL, he has two fundamental problems: Passing mechanics, and reading a defense (e.g. audibles).
I hope he makes the Eagles roster, and plays.

In the fourth inning, Aaron hit home run number 715 off Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Al Downing.[5] Although Dodgers outfielder Bill Buckner nearly went over the outfield wall trying to catch it, the ball landed in the Braves' bullpen, where relief pitcher Tom House caught it.
Probably not the same guy.
lol
The Sanchez “butt fumble” is still funny— and I’ve probably seen it a hundred times!
Release the Tebow.
It is the same Tom House, who at that time was a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves.
Ah, yes. The Michael Sam rallying point.
sounds like something a moron would say.
