It’s gonna need shock mounts if the camera is to survive. Most cameras will not take the pounding.

I mounted a gopro camera on my shotgun for shooting clays, talk about a pounding! The camera handled it ok but it shook out of position every time I fired and I had to reset it. Overall the experiment failed but it was fun to try anyway.
