I didn’t know what an EDC was.

Is it an everyday carry?

Here’s one person’s idea of an EDC.

My Everyday Carry
Handkerchief
Parker Jotter
Space Pen Refill
Chapstick Original
Wedding Ring

‘how do you open an off shore account?....I thought you had to have a lot of money to do it....’

Why? How is it different from any other account, which is either small or large.
Not to mention foreign account is about as convenient and easy to use as domestic in the age of plastic money.

Yes. Every Day Carry.

I have been refining my EDC over the years and FerFal has great reviews on YouTube.

A couple items I highly recommend from his reviews are:

ThruNite T10s (I use a single 1.5V AA Lithium battery)

Survival Waterproof Peanut Capsule Lighter Cigarette Cigar Refillable Oil Lighter Torch Key Chain Gunmetal

Gerber 31-000750 Bear Grylls Compact Multi-Tool

and

Colt Tactical Pen Black 6.125in TDH105-60B

Those are a few items I carry now and just some ideas for EDC.

Those are cool pieces of gear.

I just posted some of the EDC pictures and descriptions on my Pinterest account to keep a wish list.

1)Artillery & infantry beats survivalist hero fantasies. Every. Single. Time.

There is a regrettable tendency on these threads by those who are members of the NRA to oppose reform through Article V under the mistaken assumption that any tinkering with the Constitution brings grave risks to the right to bear arms. The arithmetic of the amendment process, especially the confirmation process which would require only 13 of 99 legislatures to oppose such an amendment, makes those fears baseless.

Worse, there are others who betray in their comments a perverse desire to drive the country into open armed resistance perhaps because they believe that it is inevitable or perhaps because they simply indulge fantasy.

As one who supports both the Second Amendment and the NRA, I nevertheless say that opposition to Article V based on these grounds is inimical to sound constitutionally-based conservatism and will in the end lead to the death to our American Republic and, ironically, the end of the Second Amendment all culminating in vain bloodshed.

I know you are not guilty of any of these sentiments and miscarriages of logic but I wish to bring this to your attention because you are prominent in the posting and reposting of the article, What Good Can a Handgun Do Against an Army.....?

Insofar as that piece makes it clear that one of the underpinnings of the Second Amendment is to intimidate the government into refraining from tyranny, I wholly support it. Insofar as that piece is distorted by fantasists to undermine an equally valid part of the Constitution, Article V, it is regrettable.

Bitcoin.

I know, everyone can make fun of me, but it is portable and can easily crowd borders.

Judging from this list, looks like the “gray man” stratagem is looking to be proven more and more often true.

Bitcoin

Lots of American don't get it, used to carrying around King Dollar. Most of the rest of the world knows better. The smaller and weaker the country, the better Bitcoin looks versus the domestic currency. Ironically all the Bitcoin venture money is going into US companies, but that's mainly because Bitcoin itself can be trusted even certain US govies can't be.

For decades now many of us have prayed for a peaceful resolution to what are becoming increasingly irreconcilable differences. That being said, I return to Rush’s “Undeniable Truth” #5. “Ours is a world governed by the aggressive use of force.”. Corollary, no one volunteers to lose. I see prayers from our side that hope for an Artcle 5 attempt to force our out of control feral gummint back in it’s Constitutional cage. I doubt that libtards would abide the outcome. In other words, they ain’t gonna volunteer to lose. Especially after seeing how near they have come to realizing their goals with The Won. Soros, et. al. may think chaos favors their end result but the reality of their low numbers probably renders that outcome impossible without control of the feral gummint which they will not have for much longer. There are just too many variables all in play at once to get a grip on just what will happen. Normalcy bias in the massive volume of Lo Info bystanders buffers volatility quite a bit but an inflection point seems to be approaching. Somewhere, deep inside I hear a voice saying it has ever been thus but global calamities have and probably will continue to happen. Like you and I many are just trying to pay attention so that we can help and advise those dear to us and maybe avoid as much of the crap storm as possible. An article 5 convention sounds good but I doubt it will accomplish what we hope.

I too share your well considered pessimism concerning the viability of the Article V movement. The arithmetic as I have pointed out countless times on these threads makes it very difficult to push an amendment through and that applies, albeit to a lesser degree, to conservative as well as to leftist reforms. But I refrain from the counsel of despair and do not regard it as better to curse the darkness than to light a candle. We must try, or what shall we tell the children?

Another reason to try is that if the left resorts to violence because it finds itself on the losing side of the article 5 movement, how much better to be on the winning side which likely means that the American military will favor us! Rather than living like rats in basements of bombed out buildings we will have all the high-tech weapons. If I know my leftists, those who do fight will fight like cornered rats, as have leftists in the Soviet Union and in Spain as examples, but the vast majority will be intimidated by the array of modern weapons available to the superpower.

Win the Article V debate and you win the war or even avoid an insurrection altogether. Lose and condemn your children to a living hell.

Agreed. We have to pray for an Article 5 win no matter how slim.
