I didn’t know what an EDC was.

Is it an everyday carry?

Here’s one person’s idea of an EDC.
7 HOURS AGO 1 14
My Everyday Carry
Handkerchief
Parker Jotter
Space Pen Refill
Chapstick Original
Wedding Ring
Skullkey
Keys on bolt
Audio-Technica ATH-M50
MVMT Watch White/Black Leather
and 3 others

1)Artillery & infantry beats survivalist hero fantasies. Every. Single. Time.

There is a regrettable tendency on these threads by those who are members of the NRA to oppose reform through Article V under the mistaken assumption that any tinkering with the Constitution brings grave risks to the right to bear arms. The arithmetic of the amendment process, especially the confirmation process which would require only 13 of 99 legislatures to oppose such an amendment, makes those fears baseless.

Worse, there are others who betray in their comments a perverse desire to drive the country into open armed resistance perhaps because they believe that it is inevitable or perhaps because they simply indulge fantasy.

As one who supports both the Second Amendment and the NRA, I nevertheless say that opposition to Article V based on these grounds is inimical to sound constitutionally-based conservatism and will in the end lead to the death to our American Republic and, ironically, the end of the Second Amendment all culminating in vain bloodshed.

I know you are not guilty of any of these sentiments and miscarriages of logic but I wish to bring this to your attention because you are prominent in the posting and reposting of the article, What Good Can a Handgun Do Against an Army.....?

Insofar as that piece makes it clear that one of the underpinnings of the Second Amendment is to intimidate the government into refraining from tyranny, I wholly support it. Insofar as that piece is distorted by fantasists to undermine an equally valid part of the Constitution, Article V, it is regrettable.

Judging from this list, looks like the “gray man” stratagem is looking to be proven more and more often true.

The biggest problem with his real world is its based on a different world than we live in inside the USA. Am I going to need a passport/? Doubtful. Am I going to flee my country? Nope. Would I tolerate a checkpoint? No, I would just go around it or not bother going near it.
