I’m a bit more chary of claims to be exalting Jesus when noting how Miranda Lambert’s “Jesus Take The Wheel” turned out (she gave said wheel back to the devil, apparently).
Some could be true — I hope they are — but we are no longer in an age where someone talking about Jesus can be presumed to be honest or of marked conviction about it.
Did Miranda do a version of “Jesus Take the Wheel”? That song was a hit by Carrie Underwood and I don’t think anyone could question her faith.......
