Glenn Beck Tears Into Marco Rubio’s Proposed Tax Plan: ‘Let’s Just Vote for Barack Obama Again’
The Blaze ^ | Apr. 14, 2015 | Erica Ritz

Glenn Beck on Tuesday said the tax reform plan proposed by Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is “bizarre” and an “absolute jobs killer.” Rubio announced he will be running for president in 2016, and Beck said his tax plan is so bad, Americans may as well “just vote for Barack Obama again.”

According to Politico, Rubio’s plan is designed to “reward families with children while slashing levies on business and investment income but keeping a top rate personal income rate of 35 percent, far higher than many Republicans would like.”

Though 35 percent is a slight cut from the current top rate of 39.6 percent, Politico noted that because it could apply to incomes as low as $75,000, Rubio’s plan could actually represent a tax hike for anyone making over $75,000.

“You think, ‘OK, this guy will be small government. Low taxes. He will be the man,’” Beck said on his radio program. “Not so much.”

What is the socialists...er, I mean Democrats always say? Balance the budget on the backs of the middle class?

Has Rubio taken to the floor of the Senate yet to tell us that he is conservative in every other way, while trying to defend his liberal tendencies?

But Wait. Didn’t Glenn want Cruz to pledge not to attack Rubio and Paul?

Once Rubio’s plan gets full exposure, he’ll be dead in the water.

Looks like Foxnews is in the tank for Bush or Rubio, with Christy having made gains....looks like Hitlery is a shoe-in if I and a bunch of conservatives don’t even bother to vote for the uniparty R lever. This time I refuse, screw the GOPe.

Rubio is useless.

Well I guess he is useful in supporting treacherous plans to turn congressional treaty oversight on its head in favor of a tyrannical president, but I mean, besides that he’s useless.

“Didn’t Glenn want Cruz to pledge not to attack Rubio and Paul?”

Cruz in his speech declaring that he was running, said that he would not bash the others. That doesn’t mean not pointing out where he disagrees with them, or where they are wrong. But just not the political tricks and lies to bash the opponent.

The panelists (George Will, Charles Krauthammer, et al) on Special Report w/Brett Baier’s “Candidate Casino” segment almost always place most of their bets on Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio. George Will is the worst. He even bet on Bobby Jindal for his “brilliance” over Ted Cruz. Cruz is pretty much ignored by the show’s panelists.

So far Cruz has shown nothing but Class and graciousness. I think it will serve him well.

Fox is just continuing to show their bias against Cruz. They must all have their marching orders from the top.

I think we all all to email them and tell them to cut it out!

As people have mentioned on FR threads, when one starts losing on the merits of a case, then the name calling begins. It is obvious that Cruz has a huge base of knowledge, and an understanding of the basic concepts of our Constitution, Liberty and God, that serves him well in answering off-the-cuff questions and debating others. I’m amazed at how well he answers questions. (Although the people probably don’t expect the long answers he gives!)

It’s very disappointing. I don’t know about marching orders but they do seem to be biased on the side of the establishment.

Good for Glenn Beck at calling attention to Rubio’s tax plan.
