Every scene in the trailer with the black guy shows him sweating a whole bunch. I wonder if he is the one the force is “awakening” in, and since it is happening to him as an adult if this is an effect of that...
either that or he is sweating be cause he is always surrounded by white guys with guns, well stormtroopers in white armor.

Joke’s aside it was an awesome trailer, cannot wait till Christmas, maybe FR should do a star wars VII outing for the heck of it.

The black guy I do not get. I thought the storn troopers were all clones of that other guy.
Supposedly if I understand correctly according to the canon the quality of the clones kept deteriorating so the Imperial Army had to recruit real humans.
Hope it is more like IV V VI and not I II III.
sad that no one in the Star wars universe has figured out that the the Sterling SMG the blaster is modeled from.. would be a better weapon for the most part than the blaster..

It is being made by the guy who made Star Trek 2009, which people complained was too “Star Wars-y” (as in the original star wars).
So I think I may actually see it in theaters.
I took my then-girlfriend to a ‘Star Wars’ movie...she married me anyway; but HATES anything ‘Star Wars’ or ‘Star Trek’ related to this very day.
Should have done it before Return of the Jedi.

The clones were used to “bootstrap” the imperial army because they (the emperor) “needed an army” ASAP to “hold the old republic together”. It would have taken too long to try to conscript and train, etc...
So as long as you are recruiting new people to replace those lost by death in battle, by the time the good movies with luke and han come along a good 50%-70% of the troopers should be conscripted soldiers from every planet in the empire.
