Never heard of them.

In fact, House M.D. never took them or prescribed them that I’m aware of.

Well it could be a number of things.

Arthritis.

Bursitis.

A pulled internal muscle in there.

Sciatica.

In all the above, cold laser therapy can help with pain and stimulate the body’s healing process.

Not sure how much diet Coke you drink, but if it’s a lot you may want to consider cutting back.

What I generally do is try to cut out any possible negative factors. Then see how things go. When you feel better add them back in slowly to see if you can pinpoint the problem activity or item.

I’m having a hip problem right now too, but I have my iPad in the bed and lay on my side. This puts pressure on my hip and it bothers me.

I changed to the other side of the bed to get some relief on that side. It has helped a little.

I go to sleep and wake up in the same position. I know I’m not getting the movement I need to while I sleep, and this is causing part of the problem.

I should probably take the iPad off the bed and lay on my stomach or back.

my Dad has had both hips replaced and is going back in to get one of those replaced. He plays handball twice a week, golf 3 times a week and tennis twice a week. He is 75. The hips last a good bit of time if you act NORMAL:)

Or a Toradol injection might be more appropriate, as a stopgap measure. For moderate to severe pain, lasts 5 days or less. It might make you dizzy, but dizzy beats pain. Also, doctor review & approval.

O.L.D. is enough. Funny thing is that everyone seems to get it if they live long enough.

I hope you feel better.

Dunno but before I took care of Stella I put quite few on them.

Rode my bike from Santa’s Village to Cabrillo nearly everyday for a year in college.

hiked everywhere I could, surfed, water skied, snowboard as many as 70 days a year, martial arts, I walk everywhere and love it.

Who knows....

I did have a friend who was an expert skier and she had both hips replaced by the time she was 35 and never skied again...

Then again, not sure if should could with 10-15 Vicodin a day.

Crazy...

My grandmother was crippled from her late twenties and lived to almost 80, mostly in a rigid semi lying position. Grandpa was in investment and had means. I remember that he acquired every quack nostrum that came along and the only thing that gave her any relief at all was gold shots and only for a while. When I got to where I was riding the motorcarts in the grocery store I started with the G-Ch very skeptically because of Grandma’s experience. It took a month but all the problems went away. Over 13 years I have had to increase the dosage bit by bit but I am still walking just fine. I tried reducing dose a couple of times but found out that wasn’t the thing to do. I don’t think CO-Q 10 does anything for Arthritis. The G-Ch is a lot cheaper. I hate taking pills and they are big but I would mean to stay mobile so I take them.

Yeah, if it doesn’t subside I’ll go see him.

He gave me the proper diagnosis for my shoulder but, he wasn’t on my insurance so I had another do the operations.

This time I’ll stick to my guns and pay for it out of pocket to have the guy work on me that I most trust.

I occasionally get bursitis in my wrists, elbows, shoulder, hip.

When I do, I wrap it in a heating pad and turn the heat on high. I keep it there as long as I can stand it. I keep it wrapped for about an hour, while watching TV. I do this 2-3 times per day. After about 3 days, the bursitis is gone.

I also use aspercream, but it doesn’t seem to relieve the pain.

Too many of us don’t drink what we need to either.

I do my part to make up for the slacking FReepers that do not drink enough!

Interesting.

I may look into that.

I spent thousands above what insurance paid all kinds of devices and therapies for my shoulder.

Can’t hurt...
