Toronto sign Babcock, 8 years, $50 million.
Probably best for both organizations, Babcock’s a first-class guy and a good coach...but time to shake things up. Wings have been fading after years of being an elite team in the NHL, somebody needs to come in and get their younger players to step up their game.
Mercy, so the Rangers jumped out to a 2-0 lead and now, the Lightning are ahead 4-3. End of the 2nd. Can’t see these games, I did stay up for that last night, some game.
Babcock is from Ontario so now, he manages the Maple Loafs as some have called them. Buffalo Sabres got stiffed but I read a piece saying it’s not the end of the world for them. The piece said there are plenty of other able managers.
I’ve always liked the uniforms of the Leafs, those are sharp looking imho and I’ve had a soft spot for the Sabres.
