It's a hangout for FBI and DHS undercover agents and a few unwitting saps.
“with ties to” is such a vague and meaningless phrase
"It's an issue because they were purchased with stolen money" Pickell said (should read claimed).
They haven't been convicted of any crime therefore there isn't any stolen money. Further how would this official demonstrate, if there had been money proven to be stolen, that the guns were purchased with said money.
It's an interesting theory that the police have, it might even be true, but shouldn't it have to be proven to be true in a court of law before property is seized by agents of the government?
There are a lot of facts clearly overlooked in this story and the charges reportedly being brought against the couple are seemingly at odds with the material seized. How would you get a search warrant for weapons based on a supposed embezzlement charge? Hope we hear more about this.
“ties to the Michigan Militia” = “a Michigan Militia bumper sticker on the back of their ‘94 Oldsmobile”.
“Some guns in the basement” = “a cache of assault weapons in a basement bunker”
Sounds like my basement.(Except they're pikers with only 30 guns and 17K of ammo)
Didn't realize it was magically transformed into a 'bunker' when weapons are stored there.
PROVE IT, news media and gun-hating cops. Produce the original ATF Form 1, Form 4, or the documents from the "rolodex", or SHUT UP.

Probably a real life version of “The Black Water Rod and Gun Club” from Matt Bracken’s EFAD novel.
Gee, the Michigan Militia gets such a bad rap for a few bad apples. Not everyone in Michigan is always in trouble with the law. Some are working to deal with idiot politicians and worthless city managers whom abuse their power and only make matters worse for themselves.
