Umm, re-read my post and it came out opposite from what I meant. I should have stated “abuse of taxpayers”. My bad. But, I do agree that the country needs tax reform. My plan would be much flatter. Right now, the scheme is too biased towards the upper end. I believe that everyone who earns income should pay something even if it’s only $100. I would also eliminate nearly all forms od deductions, credits, etc. would include those for corporations, agriculture, rich, poor, etc. everyone should have skin in the game. The only deductions I would support are charitable ones. How’s that :)

I don’t live in the State of Maryland but Martin O’Malley was the prev guv.
He put that state into a hellhole of a deficit including a rain tax. It’s been said O’Malley is a Obamabot and is a dem party man who toes the Obama line.
Larry Hogan recently elected into Guvship is having great success I hear in reducing taxes to bring The State of Maryland budget into line.
Maryland is unfortunately a sanctuary state and Martin O’Malley allowed that to happen.
I hope Gov Hogan will be able to clean up the budget thru tax reform and then get onto one of the biggest problems the St of Maryland has -illegals & sanctuary.
I have faith in Guv Hogan accomplish what he set before himself and the state.
Every state in the union need to take heed of their budgets & tax reform before Obama leaves office.

I don’t think the Bush twins ever lived in the White House. IIRC, they were ready to start college when their dad was elected. Chelsea is a good point, though.
