I watched him on Hannity last night.

He has zero chance of getting my vote.

watched Paul last night on Hannity and the man has confirmed to me that I will never vote for him nor will any of my family.
In his speech last night he said this.

” I see an America where criminal justice is applied equally and any law that disproportionately incarcerates people of color is repealed.”

Then with Hannity about abortion, homosexual agenda, immigration.

He also confirmed to me that the man is plain nuts and what the hell is this left wing crap of now calling people Neo Cons?
He needs to join the Dem party.

Religious freedom he stated he believes in it, but yes there is that, but he thinks people of religion should not discriminate.

I watched Rand Paul on Hannity last night and I thought he came across as thoughtful, well informed and has a vision for America that coincides with mine. Taking back the Constitutional Republic and restoring our personal freedoms.

Ted Cruz is my first choice but if Rand Paul gets nominated I will have no problem voting for him. We have to take back the Whitehouse.

Right now my only line in the sand is Jebbie and Crispy Kreme.

I get that the NRA would invite Cruz since he has done important legal wok for them. I loved the video someone posted of Cruz shooting an M249 machine gun. He was really getting a thrill out of it.
Good for the NRA for not inviting those that they know are not freinds of the second amendment.

Obviously Rand would not be a strong president, and he will not be elected. However, he raises interesting points, and bring many voters to the table that cannot be motivated to vote by anyone else. Yes, Rand takes the "no foreign military intervention" idea too far... but since he isn't a threat to become President, and he is simply being ideologically consistent (and honest consistency is something to admire in a politician these days, even if his ideas are unconventional), his input IS useful, and his supporters ARE important to get into the limited-government candidate's tent. Voters (and non-voters) need to be reminded that the decision to send the military should be a difficult one, and one that is only taken when no other options are left. Every military family will support that notion in a heartbeat, and with fervor. Doves and libertarians will too. With the Left and the MSM painting us as Hawks eager to send out the military to trade "blood for oil" etc, getting Rand's message out, and showing why it is ideologically important, is a GOOD thing, and can help get Walker/Cruz/Carson/Palin/whomever elected, especially by attracting voters from other bases.

Think, folks, THINK. We have to quit feeling and reacting emotionally in the same ways we have been for 12 years (despite our having very good reasons to react like battered spouses). Our future is very much at stake at this point.

Rand Paul only announced his candidacy yesterday.

I heard yesterday that that was a position he held but changed his mind recently due to ISIS. We need a president who change his mind but not one who is another person that wets his finger to test the wind or who has a permanent isolationist position and let's blame us first position.

He currently stands with the President on Iran and still calls for cuts in defense aid to Israel. Those two positions are non starters for me. I won’t even get into his goofy positions on enforcing laws.
