Walmart Puts Christian Employees on 'Watch List'
AFA ^ | April 6, 2015 | Randy Sharp

I know several high-level executives in Walmart's corporate office. I know them personally and I know their families. They have shared their faith with me and we have spent time in prayer together.

But now that Walmart has shown its public support for laws that force Christians to violate their faith, every executive, every store manager, every department manager and every team leader is forced into silence. No longer are they free to express their religious faith with its biblical position on marriage and sexuality.

In opposing Arkansas' Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Walmart now sanctions religious discrimination and anti-Christian bigotry within the company.

I vaguely remember hearing some time ago that AFA is just another slimey liberal front group like AARP that are really just mouthpieces for the democRAT party.

I think a lot of businesses say what they think they have to say to play the game. They don't want a bunch of bile smelling, screaming fascist homos messing up their parking lots.
It's easier to just say "yeah. Ok. Whatever. Just get rid of them."

When they start selling bondage equipment, hampsters, and used engine grease, then I'll take it seriously.

It's too bad they have to do this just to save themselves a hassle. They really shouldn't pretend to be endorsing the depravity at all. But, business is business.

Ol Sam must sure be proud

It's not just PC nonsense that is killing Walmart. Sam Walton built the company on low prices and customer service. I spent nearly a year managing a tire center and I can tell you that customer service is no longer a priority. I had 4 tire bays and could only use two of them because I had overstocks and bicycle assembly taking them up. Both in violation of written policy. The district office didn't care about that but the store manager did care that I complained. I was open 13 hours a day from 7am to 8pm seven days a week and I was to keep a minimum of 2 techs in the shop at all times - no overtime or you get a written warning (I got one once for being 1 minute over) I had a total staff of four techs. People were waiting four hour for an oil change and were being turned away for tires and battery changes but it was my fault that sales were down.

and it wasn't just my shop. Sporting goods was unmanned about half the time and I don't think hardware had anybody in the department for at least six weeks.

Walmart is the new Kmart

Amen!!! I truly believe we are now in a spiritual warfare. I may sound crazy, but I believe these mysterious booms that has been reported around the world are Angels in warfare. God’s Angel vs. Satan’s Minions. From what I understand, the first boom was reported back in 2011, which I find it ironic that is about the same time that the world heard about ISIS.

All we can do is prepare for judgement is near.

And there’s not that large a Jewish community where I live so I know they all couldn’t have been sold out ...

And the people Walmart hires either look like they came from the trailer park, the fricking nursing home, or the inner-city ghetto.

I remember when Walmart used to hire the very Mom and Pop owners, who's businesses went under thanks to Walmart, to run the departments that the owners specialized in.

I agree. That was my point for all the “Well, I’m never shopping at Wal-Mart again” crowd.

Perhaps they should just do their job. I have never seen so many people talking that it just makes for a longer overall time in Walmart. Back in the 70’s people just worked that is what they did and they were able to stay 30 years in a job because they worked. I was able to do the same thing and retired in 2011 because I worked for 24 years. If you want to talk, talk on breaks or at home.

Amen!!! I truly believe we are now in a spiritual warfare.

Notice how the sheep are being separated from the goats - the wheat from the chaff.
The weeds and the wheat have been allowed to grow up together so the tender wheat did not get harmed, but when the harvest time comes, the two will be separated, and the chaff will be gathered together for the fire. The wheat will be safely stored in the barn.

We see two sides in the world today. Those who are in Christ, and those who are Anti-Christ, or the followers of the father of their sins. The two sides are getting farther and farther apart.
I think the speed of seperation is unprecedented, and the war is indeed spiritual.

The company I work for is pro-gay too.

Yieks and you accept the paycheck. That is a tough situation to be in. How do you resolve that?

Raising tariffs isn’t the answer as has been proven time and again. Eliminating or greatly reducing corporate taxes is what needs to be done to even the playing field.

Exactly. Walmart needs to remember JCPenneys.

Those who are ignorant of the past are doomed to repeat it.

I work and provide value to the company. They compensate me. They don’t insist that I be gay any more than I insist that they be Calvinist. It’s a business arrangement.

Walmart is a company. Companies don’t make rules or silence employees. PEOPLE do. Somewhere, someone in authority is propagating this outrage. He has a name. He has a face. He should not be able to hide behind a bureaucratic smokescreen or a collective noun.

I don’t understand why a business like Target doesn’t just say that they are in the business of selling goods and therefore have no opinion on social issues.

Kroger employees are unionized. And Kroger is about three times more expensive than Walmart.

People didn’t believe me when I said I got written up for 1 minute of overtime at Walmart, but it’s absolutely true.

Because doing that puts you on the opposite side of the Progs, and the Progs will not tolerate that...in the name of ending intolerance, of course.
