And...when an ATC operator goes equally nuts, or the facility is overrun by terrorists, or the uplink gets hacked, then we have exactly the same situation except the person killing everyone on board isn’t actually on the plane.
Face it, people, there is no ultimate solution to the problem of evil people deciding to kill a lot of other people. You can’t eradicate moral depravity by implementing more technology.

No. It looks like the co-pilot was having serious mental problems including severe depression and suicidal thoughts.
He told his employer and they cleared him to fly! I don’t know what the liability laws in Europe, France or Germany are, but they are so screwed it is unbelievable. 150 people dead because they didn’t ground a pilot who told them he was suicidal.
It would be allot easier for them to have a key given to the pilot and co-pilot to use when they leave the cockpit.

Why is there no video in planes? We have to rely on passenger’s cell phones?! Every convenience store in America has video and the FAA cant figure out to put it onboard and on runways?!!!

Fake. Video cuts @ just over a second in but audio streams seamlessly. More obvious in the slo-mo.
Besides, the video is of a plane in seeming level flight...not the attitude of the Germanwings aircraft based on speed of descent. The altitude is a bit higher than the 6800 feet at which they lost radar contact as well.

Are you suggesting that the plane would not have crashed if they had real faith? Or are you judging them for crying out when they were on a plane that was about to crash into a mountain?

The Germanwings flight was on a Northerly heading at about 10:30 am. That would put the sun on the right side, above and slightly behind the craft. In the video, it’s low on the left.
So future hijackers will just have to travel in groups of 12 or more?
nope , none of you get my question . Just a guy , a believer , whose faith has been severely tested on this one . I know no one has any real answer . Nor do I . I just deeply wonder why the Lord seems to so often ignore our mortal pleas and allows us to be slaughtered , or die , or be murdered . Even when crying out for Him to save us . why? It doesn’t seem right to me . There should , at times , be more tangible evidence of an active and engaged living God . Yet we just suffer and die tragically
