Been there, done that, in college 40 years ago. Six weeks later I was out doing short hikes (but with an elastic ankle support and high top hiking boots). Was good for about 35+years but now need orthotics.
Have her give it time to heal and do the physical therapy. Give her flowers and chocolate and she’ll be fine. Tell her all the friends on FR are pulling for her.
