I’ve been saying for weeks that it was his brother who then got arresting for DUI and resisting arrest. I think Harry made promises to him that he then couldn’t fulfill. We know for a fact HR makes promises to his family members.

WHO Beat Up Harry Reid? Nevada Mafia. At a guess I would say it's because he couldn't get that land for that Chinese Solar company because of Clive Bundy's cows.
He almost attracted the attention of the authorities, and even worse, the Public, to some of his dirty dealings. The last thing these people want is attention attracted to their nefarious dealings.
