You probably should stop your sentence with “I don’t think.” Then it would be accurate.
The African immigrant who was brutalizing homes in the area and brandishing knives at the occupants...and whose fingerprints and DNA were at the scene.... That’s who killed the poor girl.
Rudy Guede, (an African immigrant with a long criminal history, a history of similar style break-ins and a proclivity for using knives just like the murder weapon), killed Meredith Kercher, admitted to killing her and is currently serving a 16 year sentence for that crime.
And that sentence that should have been 30+ years but Guede cut a deal with a very corrupt and ethically challenged prosecutor, Giuliani Mignini in exchange for implicating Knox and Sollecito – something Guede later recanted by saying they were not there when he alone raped and murdered Kercher and that he had never met them.
But Mignini is wildly obsessed with Satanism, seeing evidence for it everywhere even where it doesn’t exist. When first prosecuting Knox and Sollecito, he tried to make the case that Satanism was the motivation for the murder and when that didn’t pan out, he changed it to “a sex game gone wrong” and when that didn’t pan out, it was some sort of drug fueled act of jealousy.
To understand more about Mignini and his obsession with vast conspiracies and of his incompetency and lack of ethics, read the book Monster of Florence, a true crime story written by American crime novelist Douglas Preston and Italian journalist Mario Spezi.
Spezi had written extensively about the serial murders of “Il mostro di Firenze” for years and had been critical of Mignini and his and the local police’s handing of the case which saw several people falsely accused and imprisoned as being the killer only to have the killings continue while these people were in jail.
When he and Preston collaborated in investigating the case themselves and published their book in Italy, Mignini who had just published his own book, went on a vendetta against Preston and Spezi, accusing Spezi of being the actual serial killer and Preston of being an accessory. Preston was interrogated for days without being able to contact an attorney or having an Italian translator (much like he did to Knox) and was finally released on condition that he leave the country. Spezi was jailed and put into solitary confinement for weeks, also not allowed to contact an attorney but was finally, years later completely cleared. But Mignini wasn’t done and sued Preston and Spezi for “slander” because of what they had written about his incompetence. Mignini also filed a “slander” suit against Knox’s parents because they had the audacity to repeat her sworn court testimony in an American press interview.
She is guilty as hell. Read the evidence against her, it’s mind boggling..........

My theory is the Italians are letting her go because of all the outrage from the leftists over here, they are afraid of losing all that tourist $$$. That’s the only explanation I can come up with as to why they were acquitted because only a complete and utter moron would think she was innocent after reading such a huge mountain of evidence. This girl is a little psychopath playing up the whole “sweet innocent girl” routine and it would not surprise me in the least if she kills again.
