As part of its annual college rankings, The Princeton Review ranks the US colleges with the most conservative students.

While a few of the schools on the list are big sports and party schools, 20% of the colleges in the ranking are military schools.

Over half of the most conservative colleges on the list also appeared on the Review's lists of the most religious students, students who are stone cold sober, and students who don't smoke.

A whopping 17 of the 20 schools were ranked on The Princeton Review's list of future Rotarians and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Texas, a red state, is the most widely represented state to make the list, and seven of the schools are located in the south. Overall, the most conservative schools are scattered all over the country and significantly vary in size. From the 47,093 students at Texas A&M to the 378 students at Thomas Aquinas College, here are the schools with the most conservative students.

The fact that the Air Force Academy is NOT on the list is not a surprise. . .

K-State? That’s pretty surprising.

Lots of farm kids and rural kids, and right next to Fort Riley.

If Liberty University isn’t on the list then why do Republican candidates fall all over themselves to be seen there? Why not Baylor instead?

Not many liberals at Hillsdale. Not because they are isolate, demonized or shut out liberals either. They are welcome if they can be respectful and present a rational argument. It is because they actually encourage critical thinking there instead of indoctrination.

Franciscan University of Steubenville is not on the list. I have my doubts about this list...

Hampden Sydndey is all male and predates the Revolution. Patrick Henry was a trustee.

Few liberals would be willing to live in the Hillsdale area anyway. Its a pretty conservative area. There’s even a longstanding automotive repair/ towing business down there called “Glory to God automotive”.

My first ever date after I got my driver’s license was to the Hillsdale county fair.

13,000 on-campus students, and close to 100,000 on-line students; and just think of all the alumni. A great majority of them are Christian conservatives

What other reason does a politician need to want to speak at Liberty University?

Texas A&M has a larger student body and a larger number of alumni and it's a more conservative university. Plus it's in Cruz's home state.
