That still makes him an idiot! If he cant distinguish between college girls calling each other whatever and a young girl, who by the way didn’t ask to be the spotlight, she just wanted to play little league then he’s really dumb. Even if mo’ne Davis was older it’s silly to say that about somebody you don’t know.

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything 1 Corinthians 6:12

Because it is just an expression. I hear women jokingly call each other that all the time.

okay... he is not a woman, and neither is she...

He probably should have refereed to her as a nappy headed ho.

why? why should he have such animosity for this young gal... she cannot help that she is black... she cannot help that she is talented... she cannot help that she is garnering attention... what a small person to begrudge her the attention she is getting...

Yes, my attempt at humour was not humourous at all.

If a black student athlete said that same thing about a white little leaguer, would Bloomsburg kick the poster off the team? They don’t...they let black tweet anything ...

“normally that on-time and professional work was going to be critical, it was going to be watched under a microscope, and no petty sabotage bs attempts/games were going to be tolerated!”

Thank you for making my point more clearly. As I said previously: “Nothing about her skills and abilities. . .it was going to happen. On-time. Period.”

That is playing games, sabotaging bs.

By not insisting on standards means giving HER special treatment and a double-standard, as well as cramming a bs PC agenda into an environment that makes no distinction if you are a man or woman. . if you don't have the right stuff, no amount of pc bs/game-playing is going to save your life and can, and has, led to deaths (see the Hultgreen example above).

have you read that Mo'ne request the baseball player be reinstated?

“Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance,” Davis, the pitching phenom who became a national story at the Little League World Series last summer, said. “I know he didn’t mean it in that type of way, and I know a lot of people get tired of like seeing me on TV but just think about what you’re doing before you actually do it. I know right now he’s really hurt and I know how hard he worked just to get where he is right now.”

I refuted your point.

You refuse to acknowledge that there existed and still exists, petty little groups of self-important bureaucrats who think they can just game candidate scores at will.

It happens in all trades and professions.
It's called internal corruption.
I've seen in it action in the USAF and in both K-12 and higher education, and also in private business.
I've heard of it happening in all walks of life, including our justice system.

Were you personally offended that you were told to cut the crap, and make absolutely certain you and your peers did nothing to skew “her” training and test results?
Tough.
If it was not already widely known at command level that certain people in your unit were heavily suspected of playing games, and skating disciplinary action with a tiny bit of plausible denial, you wouldn't have been gathered into an auditorium as an entire unit, for a cautionary warning to do your damn job. I "annoyed" several ground crews going through IG inspections, by reporting unauthorized shortcuts and screw-ups, that directly put "my" pilots in unnecessary physical danger during peacetime flight training evaluations. I completely understand your stated position. I also reject it.

“Were you personally offended that you were told to cut the crap, and make absolutely certain you and your peers did nothing to skew “her” training and test results?
Tough.”

Goodness.

Did you miss the part where she was to be treated differently, that standards were to be waived and adjusted? Did you miss the part that regardless of her skill-sets, or lack thereof, she was going to upgrade “on time?”

It's a dangerous world and flying fighters requires hard adherence to standards.

Being told to over-look her performance in deference to pc pressures is a crime and treating her as something special, something that can't pass on her own merits. Kind of like affirmative action on steroids. Did that Black doctor earn his medical rating or was it given to him because of his race? Did she earn her ratings or was she given them because she is a she? Legitimate questions.

Flying fighters is a harsh world. We tear apart each other not just when bantering, but when flying and especially debrief. Doesn't matter who you are, what rank you are, the instructor/flight-lead will rip you on everything. Period. Until you get it right, and some never do. Would she be one that never measured up and get ripped and failed? Nope. Never. Would not happen. . .ever. Not possible. We were told she would NOT fail, that "failure is not an option". . .regardless of her skills. And you think that we were told that because we were unprofessional?

The media buzz and pressure was extraordinary and ALL instructors did not want to be assigned to her because of the media (and White House--Clinton) attention, and if she clearly deserved to fail but was passed and got killed or killed others. . .that instructor would be the first to be thrown to the wolfs.

Passing her regardless of her skills is akin to passing students from grade level to grade level, eventually graduating them from high school while they can't even read. . .and I am sure you object to that practice.

In your education world I am sure you object to pressures to pass students if they are non-performers, so why support the same sort of pressure--with far greater risks--when it comes to flying fighters?

But then again, perhaps you and your peers need to be told to stop playing games and just pass the students because too many blacks, boys, girls, transgendered, whatever were failing or failed. And being told to never fail them would insult your prefessionalim and personal integrity. Same thing.

“If it was not already widely known at command level that certain people in your unit were heavily suspected of playing games, and skating disciplinary action with a tiny bit of plausible denial, you wouldn't have been gathered into an auditorium as an entire unit, for a cautionary warning to do your damn job.”

Goodness. Insults? Uncalled for.

“Do your damn job”. . .really. . .were were told exactly the opposite: Pass her regardless of her performance and skills. That is not doing your job.

“I “annoyed” several ground crews going through IG inspections, by reporting unauthorized shortcuts and screw-ups, that directly put “my” pilots in unnecessary physical danger during peacetime flight training evaluations. “

So have many others. Has nothing to do with the issue of double-standards and kid-gloves because she is a, well, she.

Cheers.
