Jeremy Clarkson, BĂȘte Noire, of the left in the UK, suspended by BBC. May be sacked from 'Top Gear'.

Jeremy Clarkson, Bête Noire, of the left in the UK, may have gone too far this time.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Clarkson

It appears that early March 2015, he was involved in an argument with one of the producers of the show 'Top Gear' which he presents, which ended with Clarkson swinging a punch at the producer. Clarkson's co-presenters, James May and Richard Hammond managed to hold Clarkson back.

Clarkson appears to have attempted to patch things up with the producer afterwards but to no avail. He then reported the incident himself to the BBC management and wheels began to turn.

The BBC suspended him. He is already on 'final warning'

#BringBackClarkson

Right-wing blogger Guido Fawkes started a petition to reinstate Clarkson, which has reached a million signatures

Petition was delivered by 'The Stig', driving an Abbot SP gun: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/bbc/11485289/The-Stig-delivers-Jeremy-Clarkson-petition-to-BBC.html

Meanwhile, Ian Hislop,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Hislop

ostensibly a friend of Clarkson, came forward and claimed that Clarkson had hit him with a ball point pen, drawing blood, during the filming of TV show 'Have I got News for You'.

In an attempt to demonize Clarkson, a BBC executive compared Clarkson to the disgraced, deceased, TV presenter Sir Jimmy Savile, who, after his death, was discovered to have been Britain's most prolific child molester. Clarkson threatened to sue. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2995106/Astonishing-remarks-Gear-affair-senior-BBC-boss-claims-Clarkson-like-Savile.html

Clarkson launched a tirade at the BBC while attending a gala event

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/jeremy-clarkson-launches-foulmouthed-tirade-at-top-gear-bosses-during-charity-auction-10121603.html

He appeared to be of the opinion that he has been sacked

At present, the 'report' on the incident has gone to the Director-General of the BBC, who appears to be going to announce a decision on Clarkson's fate next week.

'Top Gear' is the world's most popular factual TV program. The problem is that although the BBC own the 'Top Gear' program, which we see thanks to it be exported around the globe, it is not clear whether the show would survive without Clarkson and his co-presenters, James May and Richard Hammond.

There are foreign language versions of the show made with other presenters, none of which are anything like as popular as the original show.

Sacking Clarkson may mean that the 'Top Gear' show may die. Reportedly, James May and Richard Hammond refused to go on filming with Clarkson, already.

There is the risk that Clarkson, if sacked, could start a rival 'Top Gear' ('Second Gear' ?), probably with the same Clarkson-May-Hammond line-up, produced for a different TV channel, which would wipe-out the BBC's neutered 'Top Gear'.

The Left in Great Britain hate Clarkson and everything he stands for (old-style British values) and will be delighted to see Clarkson sacked and the 'Top Gear' show axed. The BBC has been infiltrated by the Left over the last thirty years and within the BBC this movement is called 'Islington Tendency'. It is 'Islington Tendency' which have introduced the Left's 'news-speak' into bulletins, such as 'life partner' instead of 'wife', and 'African-American' instead of 'Black'.

Next week promises to be interesting.

Perhaps Clarkson might refer to the idiot left-wingers in charge of the BBC as a pack of ‘Retarded American Democrats.’ I’m sure it would get their goat, or whatever they are sleeping with at the moment... They sure seem to be hell-bent on killing their main [only?] golden goose just to get rid of Clarkson, only to probably have all 3 turn up on another channel!

The only silver lining in all this will be seeing the BBC lose money.

One can only hope that the ‘conservative’ PM privatizes the BBC. Unfortunately, the chance of that is about the same as our PM privatising the CBC! Neither will ever happen; too much of a hue and cry from the Left, especially those already ensconced in the BBC and CBC bureaucracies.

He looks older than that

You would too if you had to live as a conservative in Britain.

Now, now. I’m sure this can all be settled in a friendly way. Perhaps Clarkson could help direct a new BBC television show? You know, one the BBC would like.

It would have to be boring, low budget and insulting to conservatives. Let’s see. A homosexual vampire portrayed by one girl who changes the part in her hair to play six different characters who flies around in a red porta-potty saying “f**k” all the time while yelling at busboys.

That, or Clarkson could take over narrating the BBC documentaries.

“Now let’s see how fast this wildebeest can make it around our track.....while he’s being chased by a cheetah!”

“There’s Captain Slow frolicking with a killer whale. That’s the fastest he’s ever gone!”

Isn’t Clarkson Goering? There was an episode where Clarkson and Captain slow bought expensive cars and Clarkson bought a Mercedes Grosser and when he drove up, May said, here comes Reichsmarshall Goering.

Clarkson is a jerk, no doubt. But Top Gear is brilliant and it can’t be duplicated without him. BBC would be stupid to let him go.

Look guys, keep a grip. Yes the majority of the BBC is leftist sympathetic (at minimum). Yes I think (as a Brit) that is scandalous. Yes Clarkson has fallen foul of the PC crowd on occasions too numerous and good for him too. (Special kudos for punching the odious Piers)

BUT..just remember. He is in the wrong on this occasion. He came back from shooting, discovered no food was on, threw a hissy fit and physically assaulted another BBC employee. That is not on. If anyone else was to do something like that in their place of work they would be suspended too. In fact, I think they'd stand a good chance of being fired. Its only Clarkson's fame that is protecting him.

You can all flame away if you like.

Unfortunately, this is true. If you or I swung at a work colleague, then it is going to be 1) written warning 2) fired Probably closer to 2, especially in a large PC organization. If he actually planted leather, and the punch landed, then it is going to be (2) + the cops - jail We are fortunate that Clarkson's actions are between (1) and (2) which means that the BBC have some slack to play with. They do not have to sack him. There is an image doing the rounds (I think on twitter) of 'the Joker' with the caption 'What, the BBC was infested with paedophiles and rapists for years and on one said anything. Jeremy Clarkson swings and someone and the whole world goes wild ?' but I cannot find it.

As I understand it there was no pictures, and Clarkson apparently turned himself in.
