As a 10 year old it was pretty awful to see the half-eaten gerbil (Gus) in the cage.
It’s not much better at 30.
Long story short, out of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, it was Maggie what done ‘em in.
Life imitating art, I reckon.
