My Firefox has been locking up several times a day now for a couple of months or so. Tried uninstalling and re-installing to make sure I had the most current version ... still locks up. Tried Pale Moon as well ... don't remember it locking up but it was very slow. I don't like IE but use it occasionally. I'm almost about to try Chrome 😝
I used Firefox but dropped it around v15 because too many extensions quit working. Rapid release prohibited many extension creators to quit updating.
I tried Palemoon (32-bit) but from v24 to v25, several extensions quit working. Again, creators didn’t have time to keep up with the browser upgrades.
I ran across another Mozilla based brower and have been having pretty good results with its 32-bit version: Cyberfox from 8Pecxstudios. I have been using it for several weeks now and have had few problems with it.
