These towns want to join Pennsylvania? Talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire! Pennsylvania will not be an improvement.

Not unless the majority of Pennsylvania secedes and leaves Philadelphia to stew in its own corruption.

T’was my thought also.

How about a new state? Northern PA towns don’t like Harrisburg and Philly any more than NY-ers like NYC/Albany. They could name it PenNY or NyPenn or Freeatlast...

[Keep this up and we WILL have 57 states...]

Kind of weird, isn't it? I could see advocating for the Indian reservation out there (Seneca?) actually becoming an independent nation, and then that southern tier joining Ohio.

I know that sounds crazy, but OH is actually governed better and is more conservative than is PA. The addition would make OH even more conservative demographically.
