Yeah singing you own songs is tough especially when you're a crappy lead singer like me. Also tough to throw out your lyrics for public scrutiny. Got a few humorous songs I've written but how many times can you sing those when it's like telling the same joke to the same crowd over and over. Good luck on the band. I miss playing but hated setting up, playing for a bunch of drunks then tearing down and waking up with a hangover myself. But playing was a blast....I'll watch for you at the music awards

I’ll brag on myself and say I’m a darn good singer. But there won’t be any awards. And I don’t drink. Hopefully I can make a few hundred a month.
