What's going on with the Marines at the Al-asad airbase, with ISiS so close?

Thanks but my screen got blurry. That is the United States I wish I knew. These young men described are 1% of 1%. They and getting fed up with at least about 50% of the rest of their country are our only real hope. I wish they would go ahead and get busy and lead as citizens. They aren’t doing it out in the world because they find themselves mostly alone when it comes to values.

Standing a post without flinching. Doing your duty. These are some of the young men I know. Pushing, working, serving your buddies even if you are sick and just keeping on even when your sinew says it has had enough. Grueling hours and grueling tasks done for the honor of your outfit... there can be no other reason?

The United States Marine Corps is about the only thing left that makes me proud of this country.

Not choir boys but I never think of a Marine that I don’t think of the one handing the young boy the flag from the coffin or Toys for Tots and at the same time Defiance in the face of adversity.

God, please bless the Marines. Keepers of Tradition.

Honor, Courage, Commitment

Get a 19 year-old, teach him these things and expect him to live them or suffer consequences. Few things can go very wrong after that.

I believe there are still people who stick to these traditions. Oh Lord, I pray so.

I pity the poor fools who have the temerity to face off against our Soldiers and Marines in ground combat.

Someone on this board, compassionate conservative or something like that, seems to think we need to reach out and give our enemies and those who do us harm and take advantage of our good nature more hugs. Went to church and got all inspired.

I wonder how compassionate they would be if they had a Son facing these animals or one that could be called to just any minute. How compassionate would they be if they were called on to sacrifice all they hold dear for a bunch of sorry commies, illegals, poverty pimps and politicians to keep up this farce?

One can pray that mao al obama’s islamic vermin are dying in the hundreds. My former Marine son-in-law and my former Marine son assure me that any ROEs in place to restrain them have or will hit the s#it pile when Obama’s garbage engages.

Oh I am sure our guys there are preparing. But I think Barry butt-f**k is doing nothing. He wants his ISIS buddies to wipe them out.
