I keep reading about how women love this book. And then can not help but wonder why women are always portrayed as so much more intelligent and superiour to men in popular culture.

Have to admit I would stay well away from anyone who considers the book or movie as somehow a worthwhile read or at all viewable.

My theory is that the women who love this book are secret voyeurs who are attracted to the dark side of sensuality and sex. This is a safe way to do it without a lot of actual experience and it is a naughty fantasy the majority would never pursue. Then there are the “I see him as a project that needs a good woman to fix and make “normal” [as opposed to the current “abnormal” she has to contend].

“Fifty Shades of Grey” is a piece of soft porn garbage and a miserable failure of literature.
