My youngest sister has Ichen Planus, 3 types of skin lesions, oral and vaginal. NO cure. And Predisone not very helpful. She is going total organic in an effort to control it. As some of the lesions can turn to cancer.

Main causes are Hep B and Flu shot or dirty needles and unprotected sex. She has been married a couple of decades so that is not the cause, she does not do drugs, SO the most likely suspect is the Flu shot as they are mandatory for her in her profession.

My granddaughter’s Gardasil gave her RA and you can see the swelling in her joints. She is 16, by 20 will be in a wheelchair.

I face the fact I will need a OP drug as the Vit/Min route only allowed it to get worse. I REFUSE any but a daily I can pitch. When researching them Evista has HRT issues...Already been through all those side effect riddled drugs. Foreto can interfere with you Synthroid uptake.

And EVERY one hits another health issue their DA*N pills caused. Every one has GI side effects. I’m trying to ween off the PPI’s as the are a bone density causing drug. Been on them 30 yrs thanks to HRT and Estrogen’s plus other meds that cause GERD. I’m in a no win situation. My risk of hip fracture is 60% with the same rate of dying If I do break a hip. With Medicare mandating that bone density test be done every 2 yrs, it ties the doctors hands in the way they treat for OP.

I had no health problems and was doing really well for a 41 year old until this fall. My blood pressure was normal, blood tests for cholesterol were great, all things were good. I got a flu shot-was expecting and my OB convinced me of the need. Found out 10 minutes later that our baby had already died in the womb. I don’t know if it was the stress of losing another baby (it was about half way through the pregnancy), the D&C that followed, or the flu shot but my blood pressure has been really high from that point forward. My heart is often racing and pounding. I went from no problems exercising on the elliptical to having my heart feel like it is pounding out of my chest. After 5 minutes at a slow pace my heart rate is 179 beats per minute. I have other issues that are new to me as well.

I have a physical scheduled in a few weeks as I am very concerned about the recent and fairly dramatic changes that started less than 4 months ago. I know there will be no answers regarding the flu shot and heart issues from an MD, but want to make sure about what is really going on.
