I’m not complaining, but my wallet and liver couldn’t handle that.
“As You Think”
You don’t know what I think. Don’t attempt to tell me what I think.
Wine certainly kept me from killing my children.
Same here. since I generally drink alone, it’s not much of a habit for me. A friend I see a couple times per year has been trying for years to school me in the finer points of Scotch and KSB.
These researchers have obviously never had any of 13th Colony’s southern rye whiskey. :-)
“I understan Churchill drank a quart a day and he single handedly saved his country.”
What’s incredible about your statement is that it is very nearly factual in all respects.

I’m trying to get really really healthy. That’s why I switched to Vodka!
There’s no way Churchill drank Kentucky Bourbon.
[googles it]. Nope:
“...he began drinking each morning.
“He had champagne, a cigar and the newspapers of the day brought to him in bed,” said Otto, when recently reached to discuss Churchill’s drinking habits. At lunch, he continued, Churchill had beer before switching invariably to Johnny Walker Red, “a lot of water, no ice,” through the afternoon. “Then it was wine, brandy and more champagne at dinner and into the night,” Otto said.
But, above all, Churchill’s favorite champagne was 1928 vintage Pol Roger and he reportedly “and proudly,” Otto noted drank nearly every bottle produced. “He then moved onto their 1946 [vintage],” Otto said, “and felt regret when nearing death that he wouldn’t be able to ingest it all.”
Sorry, it was fabulously fun to pretend he did.
And lived to 90.

Thanks a lot. Just for that....

THE LIVER IS EVIL AND MUST BE DESTROYED!!
It’s not necessarily the alcohol in the red wine that’s good for you. There’s lots of other good stuff in there. The alcohol make me forget what the other stuff is...

There is no one who can tell a lie like me
You may search until you tire, you won't find a bigger liar
I've been lyin' since the dawn of history!
There was hardly any illness that my mother didn’t think brandy was the cure for. No, she wasn’t a drunk. She said she got that wisdom from the bible.
And I saw that they are giving up on telling people not to eat foods high in cholesterol. I guess it just depends on what lobbyists are paying the highest.
