I drove thru NY last winter, Adirondacks at night, saw -25.
Just as Mario Cuomo told people that there “was no Mafia. It was made up to smear Italian-Americans”, I fully expect Andrew the Crook Cuomo to say that “there is no global cooling; it is just a hoax perpetrated by the global warming deniers”.
News flash (in the future); Gov. Cuomo found frozen after giving outdoors speech about “global warming”.
At least the dogs would have something new to piss on rather than fire hydrants.
How’s the snowmobiling in Old Forge this winter? If not for Global Warming, Old Forge might be 50 below... :-)

I remember Old Forge hitting -40 pretty regularly in the late ‘70s.
Al Gore came to preach his doomsday (drought version) sermon in Sacramento and it rained all day.
I ETS’d from Ft Drum outside of Watertown. Coldest I’ve ever been in my life. The worst we had it was about -15, so it looks like it *can* possibly get colder. Seems like every other weather forecast was, “Lake Effect Squall”. Summer was defined as “poor skiing conditions”.
