A student punched a Maryland teacher last week over a racially insensitive comment, witnesses say.
The incident was reported Jan. 29, following a "misinterpretation of a comment in a classroom" at Forestville High School, according to Prince George's County Schools. Students and parents familiar with the situation say the teacher, who appears beaten and bloody in a photo obtained by News4, made a racially insensitive comment.

The Prince George's County school system would not elaborate on the comment due to privacy reasons.
"If the comment was made that I was told was made, I can understand the pain and the anger in that student," parent Cynthia Leslie said.
The teacher suffered minor injuries and the student is being disciplined.
School officials called the incident isolated, and said they don't see a need for increased security.
"It's really baffling, on both sides. From what I understand, he was really injured," parent Stephanie Benning said.

The same kids will use that same word as they ‘shout out’ to their friends. You can’t have a free society that way, where the list of unspeakable words is endless for whites and virtually nonexistent for blacks. Today’s young kids will see the hypocrisy and speak up about it.

It should read “and the student is being arraigned in court for aggravated assault”. But being Prince George County that ain’t gonna happen.

Looks like an older guy and it appears to be not in a classroom so I assume he got sucker punched. My advice to the teacher, bring a civil suit pronto against the student and the school. Prince Geeorge County from what I gather is a hell hole and some thug who would assult some old guy needs be put down.
Just like the federal govt..the public school system has gone down the sewer....why anyone would send their child to these violence producing centers of bullies, security deviates, and drug heads is beyond me....
Saying something “racially insensitive” is now the biggest crime anybody can commit. Well, if it’s a white person who said it, that is.

Lets just be honest about it. When was the last time you saw or heard of an incident where this stuff happened in a white school? It is what it is.
My good friend of many years had those problems in a couple of Atlanta schools she taught in and then she moved up to NJ and it was really a nightmare as she got assigned to the Prince George type schools as a new teacher. She could not take it anymore and retired last year.
Its demographics. Nobody wants to face it.
For you non Marylanders, Prince Georges is one of the cesspools in Maryland which is rapidly turning into a suburban ghetto. Unfortunately, most residents of the county would be “understanding” of the YUTE’s action.

I couldn’t imagine why any white person would want to teach in an inner city school. It must be almost impossible to deal with so many undisciplined students and their ignorant parent. I would say that it’s a no win situation.
Did he say “black hole” during science class?
It seems that the comment is purposefully being withheld as it probably has NO racist element in it.
Is this a case of ‘black kid just wanted to kich whitey’s butt’? Well, now it is open season.

Anyone remember the old black woman from NC who got her panties in a wad over the use of the word ‘niggardly’? She got national coverage and the person who USED THE WORD CORRECTLY had to apologize.
Look for the teacher to apologize to this violent punk.

The student misinterpreted something and it was all he needed to commit felony assault.
The main idea of the story and question everyone asks is, “WHAT WAS THE COMMENT?”
The media knows, but doesn’t want to tell us. Probably because it would portray yet another black male as stupid, violent, aggressive and not fully understanding of standard English vocabulary.

That pretty much sums up the entire ghetto culture right there. Don’t dis my baby and if you do he has every right to beat you up, shoot you, or cold cock you in the face. It’s just like all the thug supporters saying “baby dint do nuffin” when they are shot by the cops or locked up in jail.
Anyone else notice the school was a “military” school. When I was in K-12 school folks sent out of “public” school to “military” schools usually needed a bit (cough) of discipline.
Whatever the teacher said, it appears he spoke the truth about the little punk.
