I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Tom didn't understand why they're also called "shower shoes." No wonder he's always getting tinea.

I have a similar problem. Restless wings, you understand.

I was up too late reading a Harry Potter book.

Moi aussi.

I’ve discovered a relative treasure-trove of fan-fiction, especially for Harry Potter.

Much of it is execrable, as one might expect. The grammar and incorrect usage of words such as “your” for “you’re”, and the confusing of “passed” for “past” I find inexplicable.

That said, the different treatments of the storyline, as it diverges from canon in one aspect or another, can be very entertaining. Also long-winded. If you’re looking for a way to waste time reading, it’s often worth the investment.

LOL! If I want to waste time reading, I get Regency Romances. Also, I read “People” magazine on the treadmill sometimes.

Checking in. The humidity in the air yesterday and today is make me rely on the nebulizer far too often. I’m supposed to take the steroid only once a week but I’m using it every other day. *sigh*

No walking for me, again today. Maybe I will try to get the laundry done. Again.

Right now, nothing looks doable.

As a Project Manager in a City Agency that isn’t responsible for the City’s Help Desk I have more experience than I care to share with a “No-help” Desk (as Dogbert calls it).

NYC’s IT agency is the Department of Information Technology and Telephony, or DoITT for short. And they never DoITT - not even for their own projects. They just hit you with more red tape and no-help desk activity.

I forgot to put on my running shoes and had to exercise in the worn-out canvas flats I put on to take the trash out.

I was able to get the laundry done, and now I’m taking a break so I don’t over-do the work thingie. I still have to hang up the wet clothes but i can do that in a few minutes.

I had just enough money for two loads of clothes and one dryer load. I only have to wash every two weeks, if I’m lucky, but this time, I REALLY needed to wash. I will have to rob the froggie bank to see how many quarters are in there. I hate to dip into it...it was finally up to $11. THAT is the most I have ever seen it! LOL!

And of course, I’m on perma-hold with the folks at Nevada Orthopedics. I tried yesterday and got a call-back at 1630 and didn’t recognize the number. It was different from the one I called in the morning. I really need to get an appointment with them about my neck and back.

Progress! Yay! A real person!

My appointment is August 4, but I have to go into Vegas and get a copy of my MRI and the X-Rays (hopefully, I can get those here.)

At least the ortho office is in Henderson.

I’ve had my coffee, the phone is charging, and I need to go hang up some clothes.

Walmart just called to say my prescriptions are ready.

I forgot to mention that my laundry cart broke, but I can’t get a new one until payday. If it ain’t one darn thing, it’s two darn things.

Wait, wait, wait. I just have one more load in the dryer and then I can pack.

Why do these guys always show up at the least opportune times.
