Brady will leave his indelible mark on this league as well, and we'll all look back on this as the most amazing, raw display of absolute superiority ever witnessed in professional sports.

I'm not sure about that. LOL.

Montreal Canadiens won 24 Stanley Cups during their history, with 16 of them coming in a 26-season stretch from 1952-53 to 1978-79. That string included one set of five consecutive championships (1955-56 through 1959-60) and one set of four in a row (1975-76 through 1978-79). The 1976-77 Canadiens was arguably the best in NHL history, going 60-8-12 and outscoring their opponents by an astonishing 387-171 margin.

Every major NHL award that year was awarded to someone from the Montreal organization (Stanley Cup, scoring title, MVP, Coach of the Year, top defenseman, top goalie, etc.)

Eleven men from that team (9 players, plus coach Scotty Bowman and GM Sam Pollock) have been enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Think of that for a moment. That means they had a Hall of Famer at all six positions on the ice, plus three Hall of Famers who were the second-best players at their position on their own team.

Let me know when New England turns in a string of seasons like that. LOL.

Apparently you’ve forgotten about Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics.

Very interesting. Something to keep in mind is that the first few Super Bowls were played in an era before the two leagues were fully merged. The merger of the AFL and NFL was official in 1966, but they functioned as two separate leagues for the first four years and didn’t play inter-conference games during the regular season until 1969.

FWIW, Sherman is a cornerback (CB) not a QB.

Here is more about the man running the cheaters website that cherry picks data for other cheaters like you to link to:
Considerable criticism during the 2012 elections came from political conservatives, who argued that Silver's election projections were politically biased against Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate for President.[172] For example, Silver was accused of applying a double standard to his treatment of Rasmussen Reports polls, such as a 2010 analysis asserting a statistical bias in its methodology.[173] Mendy Finkel of Daily Caller wrote that "Silver rigged his entire pollster ratings for the sole purpose of lowering Rasmussen's rank".[174] Josh Jordan wrote in National Review that Silver clearly favored Obama and adjusted the weight he gave polls "based on what [he] think[s] of the pollster and the results and not based on what is actually inside the poll".[175]

Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" stated that Silver's prediction that day of a 73.6% chance of a win for Obama greatly exceeded the confidence of the Obama campaign itself, which Scarborough equated to that of the Romney campaign, both believing "they have a 50.1 percent chance of winning", and calling Silver an "ideologue" and a "joke".

Decent people use that deep inner burning sensation of humiliation you are feeling right now to better themselves, but you go ahead and cherry pick data while insulting me about my math skills. That’s what I expect from a low life cheater.

Hockey? The "Hockey Hall Of Fame?"

That's like winning a 'championship' in soccer. Who frigging cares?

That may be some impressive accomplishment up in Canada, but this here is America. If it ain't football, basketball or baseball, it's just a loserville placebo for geeks who can't play real sports.

BLAME CANADA!

Wasn’t Bill Belichick fined the highest amount in NFL history for cheating? I’m not even following the “deflate-gate” goofiness, but obviously something happened there.

Full disclosure: I’m not much of a football fan, but my team is the NY Giants.

Well, let's see ...

1. The NFL is rapidly approaching the WWE in terms of crossing the line from "competitive sport" to "staged event." And don't they have all these rules to keep players from getting hit now? Is football still a contact sport? LOL.

2. Baseball is rapidly becoming a foreign sport ... which I guess means it's still America's sport, but only because the U.S. is becoming a Latin American country.

3. Basketball? LOL. That sport is like hockey without goalies, except it's played by a bunch of mutants in tank tops.

To each his own, but all of these sports pale in comparison to the speed and intensity of hockey.

If Belichek is so great, why did he fail so badly in Cleveland?

As a native Clevelander and die-hard Browns fan, let me tell you that the late Art Modell refused to pay for any help. From players to assistant coaches, he just wouldn't do it.

That's the main reason.

I’m familiar with what Belichick did in Cleveland. I liked Kosar too. And as I noted, the last year the team collapsed with the news of the team move...and the city suing the team, and a huge circus. The current Browns have nothing whatsoever to do with the Browns of that time, except that they are in the same city.

“Since Brady has been on the Patriots team, when he hasn’t been able to play for some reason, Belichek has a losing record - I believe.”

In his first year in New England, Belichick did indeed have a losing season at 5-11. In 2008, with Brady playing less than one quarter in the first game, the Patriots were 10-6 - so while true it isn’t particularly meaningful.

It’s amusing that you take a swipe at the 538 post for getting the exact same thing out of it that you got out of it. You are presenting Sharp’s work as evidence of cheating, and condemning that 538 article for also addressing that implication.

Have a good day.

Wha Wha Wha.

I can hear the whining from Phoenix.

The game is over. Tomorrow is another game.

If it was an illegal play, throw the flag. Are we going to relive every play from September?

I hope the Pats mop up the floor with Seattle. That will give the whiners something to cry about all spring and summer.
