Loretta E. Lynch, the nominee to become attorney general, on Wednesday defended the legality of President Obamas immigration policy at the start of a confirmation hearing in which the new Republican-controlled Judiciary Committee promised tough questions.
Republicans have been particularly critical of the presidents decision last year to unilaterally ease the threat of deportation for millions of unauthorized immigrants. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. approved the legal justification for that action.
Some Republicans have said Ms. Lynchs views on the subject will determine their votes, and Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, the new Republican chairman of the committee, led the hearing with a question on the topic.
Ms. Lynch said she had read the Justice Departments legal opinions and added, I dont see any reason to doubt the reasonableness of those views.

are there ANY caucasion in that photo ?
Illegal immigration is legal? Put a hold on her!
I heard someone say, "We's in charge now."
Eric Holder in drag
No support for her!
But sadly, I don't think the Republicans will do anything.
are there ANY Caucasian in that photo ?
a few in the back
Although she hasn’t been a bad prosecutor, that (to be polite) misunderstanding of the law disqualifies her from a position such as Attorney General.
If Obama was going to pick another New York Democrat, he should hve gone with Preet Bharara.
Meet the new chief Federal Dick, same as the previous chief Federal Dick.......
The Republicans will fold like a cheap tent.
THAT is the question she should be asked. I'm sick of all this BS dog and pony show BS.
Well then she is, quite simply, not qualified to be Attorney General of the United States of America.
Did anyone expect her to actually uphold the law and not be simply another Obama sycophant?
Lynch and Holders wife go way back
are there ANY caucasion in that photo ?
Did you not get the memo. It is not cool to be caucasian - it might be against the law/s
We received our quarterly security handout the other day at work. Here is a direct quote from it:
“The Department of Justice issued guidance making it clear that no state can authorize violations of federal law...”
I guess the fed can violate all they want though huh?
Yeah, Hatch likes her.
Ms. Lynch said she had read the Justice Departments legal opinions and added, I dont see any reason to doubt the reasonableness of those views.
Then she is unqualified, no doubt about it.
Then I saw a commercial with a group of black friends, just hanging out. No white friend in attendance.
Because it would look SERIOUSLY weird if 5 black people were hanging out, and there was also a white person there, just hangin' with his homeys. Black people do not operate like that. And everyone knows it. Blacks hangs with blacks.
