It occurred to me the other day, that in TV commercials, if a group of friends are shown, hanging out, just having fun -- it's pretty much mandatory that at least one of the friends be black. Because all white people have at least one black friend, right? It would be racist to show a group of whites hanging out with no black friend, you know?

Then I saw a commercial with a group of black friends, just hanging out. No white friend in attendance.

Because it would look SERIOUSLY weird if 5 black people were hanging out, and there was also a white person there, just hangin' with his homeys. Black people do not operate like that. And everyone knows it. Blacks hangs with blacks.

I had already noticed your first scenereo, but I haven't seen an all black .... yet

They still portray men as idiots when both husband/wife .. or boyfriend/girlfriend are depicted

Remember the Jurassic Park movie with the black kid among the group. I couldn’t help but think ‘PC Bullsh*t’ and ‘WTF?’. LOL
