I happened to see the quote in the Journal today. But, I generally follow the formula: When the final whistle blows in the second conference championship game, thus deciding the SuperBowl opponents, I turn off the television and don’t turn it back on (nor read anything about it) until the SuperBowl kickoff. This year, with the Belichicks deflating (sic) the Colts by 5 1/2 touchdowns, I was able to miss most of the second half of that game, giving me more time to Freep, Tweet, and, occasionally, read a book.
I don’t watch TV or follow sports - ever.
Just heard this guy on the morning radio talk show, and it cracked me up. Totally meme-worthy.
