Depends where you are. I’ll soon be in a rural area with 20 acres. There are few natural disasters in the area. And as one neighbor we met said, he has enough ammunition to defend the hollow if need be. We chose the area and those people to have as friends and neighbors in purpose. It’ll be way better than living in mexifornia, where I agree the plan should always be to leave. When the entitled illegals want your stuff, it will be ugly.

If your only plan is to defend then you lost the battle before it even begins. You can bunker down but that itself leaves you very vulnerable, a few well placed shots and you’re there for the duration, it’s amazing what a couple of people with rifles can do. Transformers, propane tanks, water tanks and vehicles are easy to take out. Once that’s done your not going anywhere, you can’t open a door or look out a window. Tons of ammo doesn’t change the fact that your screwed.
