I am an Animal lover......but seriously, when a Bear rambles into view, my old bones go into full speed ‘outta there’ back inside!!! I am always armed when I’m outside with a large caliber weapon, and if retreat is not an option, (my first choice believe me!), at least I will have a fighting chance.....maybe. They move so fast and are so powerful at the same time that is just hard to believe, even the smaller ones. Hopefully they will continue to stick with deer meat and berries!

Bears are fast movers for sure. I have been on about 4 or 5 bear hunts with my husband, black bears and grizzlys. That part of our lives is over but it was exciting.
