An 11-year-old South Carolina boy is facing an arson charge after allegedly setting a fire inside a Walmart that caused millions of dollars in damages to the business, police report.
The boy’s 13-year-old cousin has also been charged in connection with the December 31 blaze.
According to investigators, the boy stole a lighter while inside the Columbia store and, with his cousin, used it to set a fire in the Walmart’s greeting card aisle. The ensuing blaze caused significant damage to the store, though no injuries were reported.

Yes, something IS seriously wrong... not the least of which is that they are unsupervised.... or supervised by “adults” who also had to raise themselves and are therefore effectively also children.

Local mall in my area used to have a problem with unsupervised youths running around doing stupid crap.
One group of morons in particular were dropped off from a van so their parents could party.
Kids got caught throwing things from the upper deck of the mall, they almost clipped a newborn with a thrown heavy bottle.
I wonder if the idiots of this article had been dropped off so that momma could party?

I saw a movie a couple of decades ago. A “small” movie that few people saw, about a Puerto Rican “mama” who was dealing drugs big time in NYC. All her sales “reps” were underage boys, not necessarily related to her. She was sleeping with them, partying with them, had them all staying at her home with the bulletproof door. Besides enjoying herself, she was making millions and because her sales reps were underage, they wouldn’t go to jail for too many years. Absolute evil.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if a huge number of welfare queens pull this sort of stuff.
