Much as I would like to see a Cruz White House dismantle Obamacare, I doubt it will happen. For one thing he will need a conservative congress, and while both houses are now under Republican control, the reality is that there are very few real conservatives in either house. Most of these fat cats in Congress derive certain benefits from government programs — even if it's just the votes from certain classes of people. Like it or not, both parties pander to the free stuff crowd.

My Dad used to say, there's no such thing as a temporary tax. President Reagan said the closest thing to immortality is a government program. Once a tax or program is implemented, it never goes away.

Perhaps the IRS and the EPA can be overhauled. Lord knows, both of them need reform. But I'm not going to hold my breath. There again, the politicians are beholden to a certain group of people — this time, it's government workers.

You need to learn from History. The POTUS runs the party and for a party to
revolt against their own is unheard of. If a POTUS wants to repeal Obamacare and
uses the soapbox he can easily achieve this goal. The Majority of Americans
are also on the side of repeal, so dismissing this happening is nothing
more than wishful thinking and defeatism.

Defeatism, you know, like RINOs? Don't be offended, there are many here that think like you.

He won’t need a conservative congress. All he needs (If he gets into the White House), is a Republican congress, which he will have. He will own the party by then, like every president before him has. I doubt if Bonehead will be Speaker with Ted Cruz in the White House. We will see.
What it boils down to: You want to repeal Obamacare, vote Ted Cruz. He is the only one that is fiercely determined a day will do whatever it takes to kill that abomination.
