You need to learn from History. The POTUS runs the party and for a party to
revolt against their own is unheard of. If a POTUS wants to repeal Obamacare and
uses the soapbox he can easily achieve this goal. The Majority of Americans
are also on the side of repeal, so dismissing this happening is nothing
more than wishful thinking and defeatism.

Defeatism, you know, like RINOs? Don't be offended, there are many here that think like you.
OTH, if being offended brings you around then by all means, please be offended.

Oh I know some history and it tells me that electing a conservative president these days will be tough. The party is dominated by liberals, who will make sure that a liberal candidate such as Jeb gets the nomination. Last time around, the anointed one was Romney. Herman Cain came along with some ideas. Maybe they weren't good ideas and maybe he wouldn't have been a good president. But the party hierarchy didn't like this usurper and set out to destroy his candidacy. They succeeded.

Our only hope is for a well organized grassroots endeavor. We can't do things willy-nilly like the opposition to Boehner and McConnell. The liberal Republicans are a well-oiled machine who will stop at nothing (including voter fraud) to get their boot licker nominated. We have to be stronger. If we can't get Ted Cruz the Republican nomination, we have to be prepared to mobilize a strong, well financed third party or write-in effort.

By the way, I'm not being defeatist. I'm being realistic. There is a strong number of conservatives who will vote for whoever the party anoint — just so he or she has an R after their name. We have to get others to stop throwing up their hands and surrendering because the party gave the nomination to its fair haired boy. Those are the defeatists.
