This is the problem with Target’s policy. There has to be a better way to confront an employee who is suspected to be a thief but where probable cause for arrest has not yet been reached.

At Barnes & Noble where I worked a year ago because of financial troubles, thieves were photographed and their photos faxed to every store in the USA - along with their rap sheets.
