Indoor Herbs (Shade tolerant) for winter growing that don't need Southern light:
mint- spearmint,peppermint
lemon balm- member of the mint family,(culinary use, fragerence)
Sweet woodruff - ground cover (wild baby's breath) perennial(fragerence)
Angelica
Wild bergamot- related to 'Bee Balm',attracts hummingbirds and various bees; flavor mix of orgeano and mint
Anise - the flavour of which resembles that of licorice, has herbal and medicinal uses
Chamomille/ cammomille - small daisey-like flowers, generally used in calming tea
Tarragon- culinary
chives - culinary
