I’m not saying it’s open boarders.. I am just saying it’s open boarders...

Measles? Slow news day, eh?
Omigod! People are getting the measles! Run for the hills!
And 500 test positive for HIV
Thanks illegals!
In certain ethnic groups, especially Africans, measles can be fatal. Back in the 1980's, 35,000 kids a year in Kenya died from measles.
40% of the 5 in this report were vaccinated. How are the parents stupid?
Ya know, with measles effectively eradicated for decades, an ineffective or dare I say, watered down, vaccine could go undetected for a long, long time. Then Øbama opens the borders and it hits the fan. Just sayin’.

We were all vaccinated but am still concerned. My sister is 9 months pregnant, and measles is very dangerous for pregnant women..they said today on our local news that most likely this was transported from someone who came here from a “Foreign country” yeah I can bet which one too..thanks illegals, giving us the diseases that Americans refuse to spread
It could! I may be one of those stupid parents. I don’t know. I’ve selectively vaccinated and not on the “recommended” schedule. I’m not anti-vax, but the extensive vaccination schedule that is currently recommended makes me uncomfortable with the combo and number of vaccines; Hep B, Chicken Pox, flu for example I haven’t vaxed for. Anyway, my regular pediatrician doesn’t offer the brand of vaccines that I prefer to use so I was just going to a local clinic that did have the brand I wanted, solely for vaccination for my little guy. I decided to go there myself for my yearly exam a little over a year ago now and the doc remembered me and my little guy and was discussing vaccination with me a bit, trying to get me to bring him in more frequently. And in trying to convince me told me about the measles outbreak that was going on at the time and said “We’re even seeing vaccinated kids coming down with it.” And I saw the look she got on her face as she was saying it. And I said, “that’s one of the reasons the vaccination schedule gives me pause.” So this was over a year ago the docs were noticing that vaccinated people were getting the disease.
I think you might mean borders
This must be some kind of ongoing thing. Maybe they need to find if they have some weird Typhoid Measles person working there.
I can understand that there was/were an infected person/persons there on a give day who infected a bunch of people, but it is weeks later now.
How are people still contracting measles at Disneyland?
Does Disney hire illegals??
Actually it is a concern because this is an outbreak that was brought in by a foreign visitor to Disneyland. People were exposed not only on the airline flight but through out the park. All of those people have been exposed and may expose others.
The truth is that measles is extraordinarily contagious and you don’t know you have it until after the rash develops BUT you have been contagious for the 4 or 5 days prior to that showing up. Measles is not a benign disease it cripples and kills.
precisely correct
diversity is having the chance to experience all kinds of 3rd world diseases
